Make a lasting difference in the lives of one of our most valuable resources – today’s youth.
You can make a significant difference through your will or retirement plan to the Massachusetts 4-H Foundation. Many years from now you will still be providing support to 4-H programming and activities throughout Massachusetts! Regardless of how much money you have and can give to 4-H, know that your gift will make a difference. Even a small gift will have an impact over time.
You don’t have to choose between leaving a gift to your family or 4-H. You can do both. Some gifts may actually save your family money by decreasing inheritance taxes.
It’s easy. A simple directive in your will can provide much needed support to 4-H and make a difference in so many lives:
- Make sure you have an up-to-date will that reflects your charitable objectives.
- Contact your financial adviser (a financial planner, lawyer or accountant) and ask for help in establishing a charitable gift.
- You may choose to set aside a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or a residual amount after all other distributions have been made.
- You can also make the Massachusetts 4-H Foundation the beneficiary of your life insurance policy or a retirement plan.
Including the Massachusetts 4-H Foundation in your plans ensures that future generations of youth in the Commonwealth will have the opportunity to learn new skills, develop life-long values and experience the fun and excitement of 4-H. The lives that these 4-H members eventually lead, and the impact that they have on their communities, will be your legacy.
The Massachusetts 4-H Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit. Tax ID No. 04-2303708.
