For 65 years the Foundation has welcomed your support
Our Mission
Established in 1955, the Foundation provides resources to help expand 4-H programs in Massachusetts. The Massachusetts 4-H Foundation is an independent non-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to the enrichment and advancement of 4-H programs and activities throughout the Commonwealth. The mission of the Foundation is to ensure that 4-H remains a vital center of excellence for youth development.
Our Programs
The Foundation funds the Massachusetts 4-H program through a variety of initiatives and special programs. Over the past five years, the Massachusetts 4-H Foundation gave $1.5 million to support 4-H programs across the state. Yearly funding is provided to the University of Massachusetts to fund the statewide programming, while other aid is given to specific 4-H endeavors. Individual clubs and local 4-H organizations may also apply for grant funds. We provide funding for 4-H Summer Camps by writing grants on their behalf.
